Sony announces Ice Cream Sandwich for its tablet by April

Sony Japan has announced its intention to update its tablet (Tablet Tablet S and P) this spring, more specifically in April. The corporation had promised to complete this task as soon as possible and was sincere.

Sony seems particularly involved in the update of its machines, including updating the GUI to put them in line with the requirements of ICS. There will be another welcome improvement, namely the ability to trigger the camera directly from bloccaschermo.

From the cameras of the house is inherited also the function of panoramic shooting, plus some editing functions on-the-fly. The tablet then become compatible with DVD players / recorders, Blu-Ray Sony, thanks to a special app that will allow you to see what the tablet was recorded.

The last tablet of the exclusive Sony will be an interesting feature called Small Apps. With it you can activate a menu that lets you load your browser, YouTube, Google Maps, calculator or other simple utilities without leaving JPA that you are using. Unfortunately this feature does not seem generalized to the entire operating system, but only the apps that support it - Which unfortunately reduces some comfort.

As a last note Sony will release the model without 3G Tablet P, ie only Wi-Fi. It is not clear whether this is a Japan-only model, but considering that no one here in Europe seem to want a very mobile subscription for the tablet would be inexplicable not want to export.
