Samsung Display has completed its "spin-off"

As we said, now Samsung Display is a separate company from the main body of the large multinational. It remains fully owned by Samsung Electronics, and (to a lesser extent) of Samsung SDI, but the fledgling company now operates separately 20,000 employees and 5 production: this makes it the largest manufacturer of video in the world.

The business of Samsung Display is literally titanic proportions. Samsung LCD has sold in various forms for 20 billion dollars in 2011, but has also lost 665 million, working at a loss. This is why the spin-off, which will make Samsung Display for quick and ready in the decision making process.

When I wrote for the first time I watched this process with suspicion, because it seemed that some key technologies in the field had been cut off, in fact condemning Samsung display a technological stagnation. Apparently I was not the only one to have doubts, because even the OLED industry will be merged with the new creature. So talking about the art Samsung Mobile Display, which will remain focused on the development of this vital technology.

We'll see if this new business structure will have a sense, both for the public as much for the huge galaxy of assemblers and manufacturers that rely on Samsung for the video components of your appliances.
