Pebble alert: one with a different approach smartwatch

Pebble is a new smartwatch designed to alert you try a different approach from that of other similar products on the market. Where others (Sony Smartwatch, Watch and I'm like) were designed on the resolution, color depth and diagonal screen that Pebble aims instead to a simplification.

These choices result in a minimal clock still cumbersome, but much less striking. Good choice of e-paper display (with backlight when necessary) by 1.26 inches and 144 × 168 pixels, which in addition to excellent readability even in external guarantees minimum consumption.

As usual, the use must be partnered by an iPhone OS or Android smartphone, which connects via Blutooth 2.1 + EDR. The features are typical of these devices, ie allows to check email, SMS and launch apps (even in multi-tasking) specially developed.

Alert Pebble is a project hosted on the platform of collective financing Kickstarter. The fee to participate in the development start from $ 99 (75 €) and allow you to buy the clock in white, black or red (fourth color is in preparation) at a price less than $ 149 (113 €) scheduled for the final model, which according to the company will enter the market later this year.
