ASUS Eee Pad MeMo 171 and 370T: we make the point.

At the last CES in Las Vegas has reappeared on the Asus MeMo, tablet by destiny rather fluctuating, now that we were almost resigned to never see in Italy: in the U.S. show there were two models instead Eee 171 and Eee Pad Pad MeMo MeMo 370T. So let's see what we know of their fate.
The 370T will be available from us in the WiFi-only version at a price of 249 €. The tablet will be powered by Tegra 3 CPU with 1 GB of RAM, the screen is a 7-inch WXGA (1280 x 800), will have an 8 megapixel camera and Ice Cream Sandwich preinstalled.
The MeMo 171 was, however, recently starred in an event Asus in Taiwan, which showed that the Asian market will land on 5 March 2012, at a price of 450 € (according to our currency), accompanied by the remote-phone MeMIC we had already seen. Unfortunately this model does not seem destined for the European launch, but it is not yet an official news, so a bit 'of hope remains, though, considering the precedents, not too much.
Unchanged its technical characteristics (dua-core Qualcomm CPU at 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM, 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, micro-USB, micro-HDMI, and MicroSD, 4400mAh battery with 8.5 hours of playback Video declared), but it seems that it will not be Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, but the tablet will be launched with Honeycomb 3.2 with promise to update to Android 4 (something in which we feed doubt, since the Asus). Last but not least: it was added a capacitive stylus to draw on the display, as is now already other models we have used....
