Aurvana X-Fi 2 and HN-900 noise-canceling two new headphones from Creative

Creative has just announced two new models of headphones with an active noise cancellation for use while listening to music, making calls with the iPhone or just relaxing by the attenuation of external noise by 85%.

The models are called Aurvana X-Fi 2 and HN-900 are closed supra-aural type of course and are not wireless, but with a normal audio cable but can be removed if necessary when not needed. The frequency response is between 20Hz and 20KHz and is secured by two 40mm drivers with magnets Neodynium.

The model Aurvana X-Fi 2 differs dall'HN-900 for the use of technology X-Fi CMSS-3D, which filters the sound and increases the feeling for a three-dimensional soundstage, and X-Fi Cristalizer, a filter that "cure" the compressed audio sources to provide a sound nicer (at least on paper). More than for audio purists - who prefer to depend upon a source of uncompressed rather than filtered - the headphones are perfect for the gaming environment, where 3D effects and noise canceling enhance immersion and gaming experience .

The power for the two models is performed by a single AAA battery for 9 and 40 hours of battery life, respectively Aurvana X-Fi 2 and HN-900. The Creative HN-900 is already available on Creative's online store at a price of 99 € with free shipping, while the Aurvana X-Fi 2 should arrive in the near future, probably at a price of 199 €.
