Blackberry Playbook is updated to version 2.0 and supports Android applications

If you are one of the developers waiting for your Playbook free or if you just own the board of RIM, you will be pleased to know that support for Android app inside is now a done deal, thanks to an update that was released in these days .

Given the offer made to Android developers, there was indeed expect a move of this kind, because if Android apps are not adapted to work with the emulator to have a little point, fortunately, it seems that the steps required to run them are quite a few, but all this will be enough to revive the fortunes of the tablet from RIM?

Hard to say with certainty, as the idea is appealing, we are still in the early stages of emulation Android applications, so we can not know exactly the limits and potentials: it is certainly a field in which we think is worth investing, and that could make a fortune of future devices, even the most compact tablet, but right now we are still in limbo in which they are all pioneers.

The update of the Playbook is not limited to this however: among other innovations highlight native support for email (we share the concerns of colleagues Phandroid: really missing so far?), Integration with Twitter and Facebook, improvements to the web browsing and were also introduced a new virtual keyboard and a new interface of the homescreen.
