Board of Imagination: skateboarding, which is controlled by thought and Windows 8

Remember the Board of Awesomeness, controlled electric skateboard on Kinect saw about two months ago at CES? The mad inventors of Chaotic Moon Labs reproduce the same unfailing skateboard from off-road, but this time with a control system even more futuristic. The medium is no longer controlled by gestures, but only by thinking through the "neuroheadset" EPOC which captures the electrical impulses of the brain.

The device is made by Emotiv of Neuroengineering - the motto is "you think, so you can" - and takes care of translating two basic impulses: acceleration and braking. On the hardware and software are once again a Samsung tablet with Windows 8 Beta, now partners in the creative laboratory fixed.

Chaotic Moon has no plans to market the product but plans to make the open-source software, combined with a series of information on costs and materials to bring about the do-it-yourself. To see the video with the "table of imagination" in action followed the article after the break.
