China: here is the tablet patriotic

The idea could be very intelligent technology and satisfy the desire of Chinese consumerism and grab the sympathy of the scheme with a tablet, called the Red Group Number One, that between an app and the other celebrates the oppressive authorities and the 'standardized patriotism typical of the PRC.

Unfortunately the unit does not keep promises. Apparently born with a screen from 9.7 "1024 × 768 and a decent processor Tegra 2. The OS is Android 2.3 Honeycomb, which runs through 1GB of RAM and has 16GB of internal memory. To complete the picture it seems there is a 5MP camera 2MP front and rear and 3G connectivity.

In fact, the site of the same manufacturer is inconsistent performance and characteristics, and the manual shows the presence of an interface completely different from the photos that appear on top of this article. If you suspect it, wait till you hear the price: we speak of 9999 yuan, equivalent to about € 1244, which is twice the size of an iPad on the Chinese market (where people seem willing to risk their lives for an Apple tablet).

The Red Group Number One seems to have its loyalty to the regime: apps suited to a government official (hard to tell exactly what they may be), People's Weibo (the microblogging service officially authorized), subscriptions to all publications approved and finally a delicious app that follows step by step the Congress of China in his days devoted to govern with wisdom the vast country of Mao.

In fact I doubt many will buy this tablet left, not even government officials - What I'm quite sure not even know that this product was invented just for them.
