Dell XPS 13, a new attempt to break with ultrabook

Despite the failure of his Adam, withdrawn from the market about a year ago, but still one of the first born in the wake of the MacBook Air, Dell tries again and at CES 2012 a new ultrabook called Dell XPS 13.

This time, however, the conditions seem good, at least according to comments of those who have first-hand: the Dell XPS 13 seems to be thinner and smaller than the MacBook Air and would offer a intriguing design, with its exterior finish carbon fiber, which also offers light weight and durability, interior finish and magnesium alloy soft-touch, such as carbon fiber that offers excellent tactile experience.

In addition to design, complete with a backlit keyboard, the technical characteristics are promising, although not reaching great heights: the best configuration (Dell XPS 13 is customizable, as in the best tradition of Dell) includes an Intel Core i7 2637M dual-core, 4GB DDR3 SDRAM, Intel HD 3000 graphics card and 256 GB of SSD storage with Intel Rapid Start.
