Dual-core TI OMAP 5 Vs quad-core Cortex A9 (Tegra 3)

Nvidia has undoubtedly played in advance, making mention of its Tegra 3 already in the past year, with first models that carry it are already marketed or about to arrive, Qualcomm and Texas Instruments rather play some 'catch-up, but judging from the first benchmark seems that the wait was not at all useless.

The TI OMAP 5 we show you today is a dual-core (and not a quad, as per the latest trends) consists of two chips Cortex A15 ranging between 800 MHz and 2 GHz clock and GPU SGX544, compared with a quad-core Cortex A9 at 1.3 GHz (who happens to describe fully the Tegra 3).

The Ice Cream Sandwich two tablets in the video below will embark download video, let us listen to some 'of music and of course must also juggle with a little' benchmark: useless reveal who the winner, in any case the chip from Texas Instruments is expected in late 2012
