HP Mini 1104: a new netbook 10 "Cedar Trail for students

The Mini 1104 is the last HP netbook home, that at the recent launch of the new generation of Intel Atom took the opportunity to modernize the series in the forms and components. Addressed more to students of domestic consumers, the Mini tends more to the savings components that performance, and is easily seen from the 10.1-inch monitor (unfortunately only 1024 × 600 resolution) integrated into a chassis that could easily integrate a display by at least 11 ".

Inside is a dual core Intel Atom N2600 Cedar Trail with core, capable of operating on 4 simultaneous threads (basically a virtual quadcore) and with the new integrated graphics GMA 3600, finally able to decode video in Full HD. The rest of the budget includes 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB 5400RPM hard drive (with a motion sensor for data protection), USB 2.0 ports and a VGA resolution camera. As for connectivity, we find a Wi-Fi adapter, Ethernet 10/100 and Bluetooth, while for mobile connectivity and GPS need an optional module.

The HP Mini 1104 still does not appear in the lists of HP Italy, but is available on the pages of the American manufacturer that specifies that the price starts at $ 399, € 309 at current exchange rates, a figure disproportionate to say the least for a netbook from specifications only mediocre. Recall that earlier generations of the HP Mini were sold at prices much lower, from 200 € up.
