Iconia Tab A200 in Milan Fashion Week

The 2012 line of Acer tablet is not composed only by the mainstream model Iconia Tab A510 and flagship A700 Iconia Tab, which we have talked a few days ago, but also from the entry level Acer Iconia Tab A200. Not all users are in fact interested in the many ancillary functions that usually offers a high-end tablet. Many may prefer a cheaper device, but is equipped with all the essentials and offer constructive care comparable to that of more expensive models. With this in mind, therefore, Acer has designed Iconia Tab A200, we had the opportunity to see live during "Fashion Week in Milan, 'next to A510 and A700 models.

Acer has first unified design, which is now so similar for all three devices, and is characterized by soft lines and clean and good care, craftsmanship, attention to details. On the back, along with the new Acer logo, so we find the same pattern in relief also present in other models, which will ease the grip. The display is the same model A510, a 10.1-inch resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, but to keep down the price and, while providing reasonable performance, the features of this tablet is completely different from that of the two elder brothers.

First of all, because here we find the Nvidia Tegra SoC with 2 dual core ARM Cortex A9 processor at 1.2 GHz and Nvidia GeForce ULP, 1 GB of RAM and 8 or 16 GB SSD. Connectivity instead we think of the WiFi and Bluetooth modules, while the 3G modem is optional and is not currently available on the Italian market. Also missing is also a rear camera and HDMI digital video output for interfacing directly to the tablet to an external monitor.
