LinkedIn announced on Tuesday (2/21/2012) that they had reached one million professional members in Indonesia. LinkedIn is the largest professional network with more than 150 million members worldwide and more than 25 million members in Asia Pacific.
Since the launch site the Indonesian language, the number of LinkedIn groups in Indonesian has doubled and more than 700 groups. This launch is part of LinkedIn's commitment to improve the user experience so that professionals can utilize LinkedIn for career advancement globally.
In a press release, Cliff Rosenberg, LinkedIn director in charge of Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia said, "Indonesia is an important market for us where we see tremendous potential for growth. Two months after the launch of local language websites, this is an important milestone for us to show that professionals in Indonesia are keen to build brand themselves online in LinkedIn. "
