Lenovo ThinkPad Edge S430, Windows notebook with Ivy Bridge and Thunderbolt

The new Lenovo will present at CES 2012, especially in terms of notebooks and ultrabook, will be so many and the Chinese manufacturer is releasing at this time some information on new devices, arousing our curiosity.

It will be interesting as the new ThinkPad Edge S430, probably one of the first devices with Windows to offer the new generation of processors and Intel Ivy Bridge Thunderbolt for ultra-fast data transfers (though still supported by a few external devices).

The thickness of this new laptop is quite small, about 2 cm, and the approaches to ultrabook aesthetically, but probably more with an optical drive, and the design would be another strong point of this laptop, thanks to the soft-finish touch known to be used in smartphones and appreciated for its pleasant tactile sensations.

Other technical specifications have not been reported in detail: there are rumors that the notebook can be equipped with Optimus Nvidia graphics cards, up to 1 TB of storage and the options screen there will be a practical Antiglare (finally!). Prices also appear attractive, with a starting figure of 749 dollars (about 578 euro exchange rate).
