Polaroid SC1630, Smart Camera with Android

Polaroid has presented at CES 2012 a new camera intelligent (smart cameras), equipped with the Android OS. The Polaroid SC1630 is the natural evolution of an object, camera, increasingly replaced by another, the smartphone, which is certainly not the height of a camera. Witness the phenomenon of so-called iPhoneography, which turned the iPhone 4 in the most used camera on Flickr, causing many users to migrate to 500px to share your shots.

The move by Polaroid brining to take all those happy owners of iPhone users, with the arrival of Instagram (already 15 million users) on Android, might be attracted by the idea of having a live camera to share their shots ? Who knows. Meanwhile it is time to see the features of the new Polaroid.

Here they are: 3.2-inch screen and 16 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom, unspecified version of Android and Android Market with a browser (in addition to the function of mp3 player), Bluetooth to connect directly to the GL10 Instant Mobile Printer to print. The new Polaroid offers 18 shooting modes and captures images with a 36mm-108mm lens, face and smile detection, smart albums, 32 gigabytes of memory via micro-sd.The Verge defines poor and plasticky but the hardware and software slow, rejecting the product: "neither the photos nor the prints are equal to those of smart phones in circulation."
