Pure Highway 300Di here is what has really drive

From the first Tanga Voxson (1), with the company that made music in the car during the boom of the 70s, from what I can now offer a new tool such as the Highway 300Di (2) Pure runs there. We speak of a minicomputer for real cars, specializing in one area: what to do the job of the music center for cars. But what can you do with a new "radio" (it's almost insulting to call it that) like this?

Listening to music, sure, but the important thing is the scenery. To begin with, it is an instrument capable of receiving DAB, DAB +, DMB-a in Banda Banda III and L. This clashes with the current coverage of the territory, far from being able to guarantee an uninterrupted listening, but we believe the house. The quality is of course admissible digital and this is a lot.

There are three units in the package: the "unit", as once they rename the electricians and the like, which is nothing if not the central unit. There is then the control unit and an antenna amplified active. The central unit can be mounted concealed, under the dashboard, while the control unit, equipped with a rotary knob and of only four keys, is mounted in a strategic position visible and operable by the driver.
The antenna consists of two parts: an outer shell, to be applied at the top center of the windscreen, on which house a stylus and a mini-helical dipole, able to easily receive all the necessary frequencies, which are coupled capacitively with a controsagoma of equal area from where the cable lead to the central unit.
The control unit has an OLED display, bright, sensitive to ambient light and visible from any angle. In addition to displaying the name of the current station and brief information on the broadcast program, can scroll news headlines: a function that the house called Dynamic Label.

In the box there are all required cabling: a cable with a standard audio jack stereo 3.5 mm, capable of accepting analog signal from any source as MP3 players and the like, or send your audio signal structures amplification and sound already in the car. Alternatively, there is an ISO cable able to perform a similar function.

There is a USB cable, capable of interfacing with virtually any gadget connectable with the standard iPod, iPhone, USB flash drives, external drives (Flash and otherwise) and is capable of feeding (and upload, if applicable) the same without difficulty.

Already this is very, but the house has provided additional comfort. For example, it is expected that the company calls Forecort Pause, or a quick stop to refuel, to make a cash withdrawal at an ATM of a bank, stop any "short". If you stay within eight minutes, the device can store in it what you will lose the radio broadcast during the stop. When back in the car, listening to resume delayed: the unit will continue to receive, but will listen, unless otherwise command exactly from where it left off listening. Such storage of eight-minute audio remains in memory for another seven minutes, after which the unit is turned off to preserve battery power the car.

Then there is the picnic mode: allows the device to listen for an hour with the keys or the tab out of the dashboard. At the end, as always, do not affect the restart of the car, after 60 minutes the unit turns itself off.

The house calls, in Italy, 290 euros and some selected shops Magneti Marelli CHECKSTAR the install for free. It is therefore well worth thinking about: the cost is in line with that of a "good radio" but in this case you get something a bit 'more forward looking.
