Pure Highway 300Di: our test

Pure Highway 300Di presents an aftermarket system that allows you to receive channels of digital radio of any car. The system is very simple: a central unit, a display with control buttons and an external antenna that make up the kit can be installed on all the radio. The system must however be fitted by an installer that, in addition to wire the car, the control unit settle inside the dashboard by connecting it with the car radio and car leaving a view only the control unit.

Highway 300Di allows reception for digital radio stations broadcasting in DAB, DAB +, DMB-A as well as those in Banda Banda III and L. In addition to performing this function, the decoder also allows you to manage your music via an Aux-in socket and a USB connection, with support for iPhone, iPod and iPad. The system interfaces with the existing car stereo using the aux-in or, if that is not present, it interfaces directly with an ISO connector.

The quality of digital radio is impeccable and the difference with the radio "normal" is evident even at first listen. No noise, pure tones, bright and clear, with absolutely unparalleled sound experience. Apart from the quality digital channels also offer more information through the DLS: Dynamic Label Segment allows you to view the display dell'Highway 300Di, information such as song title and author or news or news on traffic. The system is also equipped with a dual tuner that allows a continuous updating of the list of available radio stations: when a search receiver, the other is used for the reception of music.
