Samsung Galaxy Tab 2: 10.1 inches and 4 Android

The MWC 2012 is almost upon us: in the next few hours, participating companies will officially launch mobile products that will accompany us during the year 2012-2013. Samsung is among them. Through a press release, in fact, the Korean company ahead of its time and has officially launched the new Samsung tablet Galaxy Tab 2, 10 inches, which will team up with 7-inch model we have known a few days ago. Just like Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 by 7 inches, also 10-inch version will be equipped with a dual core processor 1GHz, with 1GB of RAM and storage from 8GB, 16GB and 32GB, expandable with microSD cards.

The fundamental difference is of course the display, which in this case has a diagonal of 10 inches (PLS TFT) with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 1.3 megapixel camera with dual (front) and 3-megapixel (rear). HSPA + will be presented, along with a WiFi module and Bluetooth 3.0. The operating system is the well-known Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, while the integrated battery is a 7000mAh model. The design, as you can see from the pictures, is slightly different to the models currently on the market and are evidence of the size.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10-inch and more often even if only slightly, 9.7 mm against 8.6 inches, and weighs 588 grams. The speakers change position and move the edges of the tablet, no longer on the back cover. We have no information on sales prices and availability on the European, but we're confident we'll find more details in the coming hours. Stay tuned.
