Samsung preparing new and second-generation Chromebook Chromebox

Although it is very likely that sales are very impressive, Samsung continues to develop Chromebook, and brings a new model of the 5 Series and the new Chromebox.

The new Series 5 Chromebook is very compact, with a 12.1 "anti-glare and Celeron CPUs. The interior space is 16GB, with a price ranging between $ 400 for the Wi-Fi version and $ 500 for the 3G (which given the current trend I doubt will be sold a lot, people prefer the Wi-Fi supported by a smartphone outside).

The Chromebox remains however a big mystery, of which only a few pictures, like the one above. Certainly it is very small and takes up very little space. What's inside the other hand is unknown, but otherwise speaks of Samsung Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, 5 USB 2.0 ports, DVI, DisplayPort and headphone jack.

The cost would be very low, probably it is a product aimed at the educational market. And 'possible to create very effective competitors in the same market segment, or in that of small and inexpensive laptop-style netbooks.
