SolarKindle, to load the Kindle to the sun

From tomorrow it will be for sale SolarKindle, a cover specially designed for Amazon's popular ebook reader, equipped with solar cells and therefore able to recharge the battery.

Will sell for $ 79, which is not cheap but, as ZDNet points out, it is not even necessary since in the absence of radio links - whether WiFi or 3G - the battery of a monochrome Kindle lasts between one and two months.

Could it be more useful for those who chose the Kindle Fire (hence the announcement of the Touch and Fire), being equipped with color display, has a battery life markedly lower. On the site of the house, however, is not specified whether it is suitable for that model.

The idea, however, does not look bad: especially when adapted for any Kindle, would make the apparatus in use outside / summer really independent, even without the need to carry around the charger.
