Super Talent Mini Storage POD, a portable SSD with USB 3.0

Super Talent Technology, a maker of flash memory products, has announced a portable unit that can make the happiness of many: it is the POD Mini Storage, an SSD External precisely designed for easy transport and fast transfers.

The Mini Storage POD processor SandForce SSD is equipped with USB 3.0 interface and can reach 260MBps read and 174MBps write.

The solid disc portable, compact size of 110 x 68 x 10mm, also comes with a One-Touch Backup, a button with which you back up fast and immediate.

The cuts will be available from 60, 120 and 240 GB, but prices have not yet been officially disclosed. Unfortunately I do not think we can expect anything cheap.
