A tablet for children

Oregon has officially announced a special tablet for children and called Meep!. This device will be unveiled for the first time in the U.S. during the Toy Industry Association's (TIA) 109th American International Toy Fair, an American event dedicated to the world of toys. Like most of the devices dedicated to smaller, Meep! has been realized with materials particularly robust and shock-proof considering the stresses which must withstand. The tablet can be used by children from six years onwards.

Oregon Meep! is based on the Google Android operating system (version not specified) and provides a 7-inch touchscreen color. The G-sensor (accelerometer) provides for the automatic rotation of the contents on the screen based on the orientation of the device while the WiFi module can be used for internet access. An SD card slot lets you store your favorite content to take it with you '. Meep! it is perfect for listening to music, watch movies and read any eBook. The presence of different educational app is another added value for the training.

It is a solution dedicated to children, the new home tablet OS has a number of options for parental control, which can be varied and controlled from any computer or smartphone with an active internet connection. This means that you can actively intervene to manage the content and functionality enabled in order to prevent your child does not inadvertently happen on internet sites with dubious contents or inconvenient. At present, the company has not communicated in an official availability and pricing of launch of this tablet although it would seem preannunciarsi quite competitive.
