Toshiba Book Place DB50, but without the ereader Android e-ink

Toshiba was going to give a concrete answer to Sony's ebook reader with his new ereader BookPlace DB50. Too bad that it is not a device for e-ink and therefore in my opinion not really compete with anyone.

Who needs because of a device used to read long, can not help but e-ink display, the other those who opt for a device suitable to multimedia content, will aim directly on a tablet.

In any case, the Toshiba Book Place DB50 features 7-inch LCD screen with 1024 × 600p, a 1 GHz processor, 8 GB of internal memory, a battery that promises 7.5 hours of use (for a very avid reader of ebooks !) and perhaps the only good thing, running Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

For now the new "ereader" Toshiba will be sold only on the Japanese market equivalent of 219 euros (the price is too high!), But if it were to come here, do you think could have happened? I remain skeptical.
