What innovations would you like to see in 2012? And what are your good intentions technology for the new year?

Sometimes I think that there is more room to invent anything new: the thought comes to mind, or perhaps fear, that the world is already saturated with technology, innovation, devices and objects of desire. But then rinsavisco and I am perfectly aware that there are still roads to travel a lot. Fortunately, or unfortunately, because there is always the risk of pursuing self-destructive, doomsday scenarios that would lead us to, so well described by an interesting note and cinematic tradition.
In any case, disasters aside, I'd like to know what to expect from ordinary people technologically speaking for this 2012: What innovations such technologies? What can be improved and what you can still invent? Surely it will go towards an ever closer union among hi-tech and energy savings, and then automation will increasingly popular, the screens will be our preferred interface for interacting with the world and the touch of our fingers will always be more like Harry Potter's magic wand, indeed, be directly gestures to control everything, indoors and out. Oh and then there will be fewer and fewer wires, that's for sure.
But these are things that already exist in part, that in some way already around us or that are incubating, I would like to know from you what is behind the corner of firsts: it could never come up again the brilliant minds of the Our technological world?
And then, on the threshold of the new year, made budgets for the past year, you should always question the good intentions, in the technological devices we might ask what we would like to buy and what technologies we want to get closer, not to mention that we always learn hacking and the do-it-yourself geeks, who are a great way to learn from "inside" objects that have become almost indispensable for all of us. So what we want to project technological intentions in this 2012?
