This is a simple SD card with a 8GB memory, Wi-Fi module and built on its server http://flashair/ which loads all of the content stored on the card are these pictures taken with your camera or video, or even saved files.
The operation is very simple: just insert the card into the connector of your device and use it as a true mass storage, then you can access the server to display folders with content stored by a PC, a tablet or smartphone with Wi-Fi and maybe share them between these and other devices connected to Local Area Network.
Toshiba FlashAir was presented at CES 2012 and will be launched in February at a price of $ 70 (€ 55 at current exchange rates)
