Apple's CEO Meets Vice Prime Minister of China

Previously reported visit Apple Chief Executive Officer, Tim Cook to China to negotiate with local government officials. Now known that a tour in the Bamboo Curtain country, Cook also met with Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang.

Reporting from Bloomberg, RBU (03.28.2012), according to Apple spokeswoman in Beijing, Carolyn Wu, Cook and Li held a 'big meeting'. But he declined to give details of the talks Cook and Li as well as the Mayor of Beijing Guo Jinlong, the day before.

As we all know Apple and Proview are in a relationship 'hot', ie they trade disputes iPad in China. The statement also confirmed via email by the Vice President Hejun Vanguard, Huang Yiding.

Earlier in 2009, Apple said it has bought the rights to the trademark 'iPad' in China from the Proview. But a court in Shenzhen in November and then decide, Apple's agreement with the 'sister company' Taiwan is not valid because it has a unit that is not included in it. Apple then filed an appeal against the decision on February 29 and a decision will be due within three months.

Meanwhile, when asked to comment on Li's earlier statement, Wu said that China Proview had misled the court and the customer.
