Applications in Windows Phone Marketplace 70,000 applications

When compared to the Apple App Store and Google Play, applications for Windows Phone Marketplace obviously just lost in the type and number of applications. However, sustained growth is eventually gave birth to 70 000 applications for their app store.

This is a success for Windows Phone Marketplace after reportedly reached 60,000 applications in January.

If calculated on the average, each day there are 300 new and additional applications are available for Marketplace. Interestingly, there are reportedly listed 100.ooo developers to develop applications on Windows Phone. Of course, this makes the Windows Marketplace to develop and remain optimistic that someday may be able to compete with Apple's App Store and Google Play. However, Microsoft does not want to rush too and they think if they want more emphasis on the quality of apps rather than quantity of applications.
