A case for the Raspberry Pi through 3D printing

Anchovies Mark is an engineer and an avid supporter of Linux, with a great passion for the PC world that goes far beyond simply "working relationship". Not surprisingly, have spent time and effort in creating a case for the Raspberry Pi, the computerino at $ 35 which is sent as a simple, bare board.

Apparently the trouble to give a home to Pi were more challenging than you think. Lacks the possibility of screwing, and the housing has had to resort to a snap mechanism. Moreover, the outlets may not have been arranged in the most ergonomic possible, but are designed so as to save space. The result is a rather asymmetric positioning, with a USB port that projects from the Ethernet jack next to it, a situation replicated by RCA, not on the same axis with respect to the audio jack.

In any case, success seems to engineer total. The images you see are just renderings, but soon the first homes will become a reality thanks to 3D printing service Shapeways - where it will remain available for those who want to accessorize their Pi. At the moment there are only 10,000 people worldwide have been able to accaparrarsene one, and as we have seen the demand is really high.
