CeBIT 2012: Uni Jade Micro-Box Nettop

Jade is an Australian company specializing in PC ipercompatti and nettops in general. His new birth presented at CeBIT called Uni-Box and is literally a perforated metal box, but small enough to hold an Ivy Bridge Intel Core i7.

The metal design is anything but random, rather it is designed specifically to put out the heat, nevertheless significant, derived from a powerful CPU in a closed space so narrow.

Actually the "boxes" will be two and not one. If you see the images will notice a kind of lower base with the plastic case, that is a docking station designed to accommodate a greater number of sockets and interfaces.

The motherboard is an Intel HDM65 Express, a card designed for notebook and able to support even Sandy Bridge processors. You can choose the depth of the portfolio: said i7 or i5, i3 or Celeron A57.

Other hardware features include 4GB of RAM and a 16GB SSD mSATA. The top has an audio jack in and out, HDMI, TV out, Ethernet, 4 USB 2.0 ports. The bottom dock can be customized by end-user requests. Present at the CeBIT is simply covered with video jacks of different sizes and other USB (although for some reason there's even a USB 3.0).
