Each household is € 3900 per year for energy

The Germans have in the past year spent on energy per household on average € 3900. Which 41 percent went to fuel, 36 percent of the heat supply and 23 percent on their electricity bills, as the news magazine "Focus", referring to calculations of the RWE expert Hans-Wilhelm Schiffer reports.

Compared to 2010 the energy bill by 268 euros, or 7.7 percent increase. This was due, according to "Focus", especially the rise in crude oil prices and the rise of eco-levy on electricity. Schiffer is the author of "energy market in Germany".
