In addition to this is of great utility to the fact that we are not limited only to the fingers as input method, since they are recognized also pens (normal) or brushes, of each of which is interpreted correctly the pressure applied and also the "size" for example a large brush strokes will produce larger, just as we would expect. Considering also that the refresh rate of up to 1kHz, the reactivity of the system is very high and there are no lag between the touch and its actual display on the display.
At the MWC was also a second demo unit, called Stargate, equipped with dual-layer touch with support for 3D controls, which reminds us apart from the effect obtained with the input ultrasound of Texas Instruments.
There is also a counterpart, which can sense also from the images below: given that this technology needs a large amount of LEDs and photodiodes, is required to make additional frame in place, thus making it impossible incastonarla in the devices of reduced dimensions, and certainly a display edge-to-edge is not covered.
