In a press conference at the Apple iPad Event at the Yerba Buena Center for Arts in San Francisco (07.03.2012), Apple has finally officially announced their third generation iPad called "The New iPad".

Thin tablets with a weight of 0.7 kg and 9:44 mm thickness has a number of improved features compared to previous generation models, such as retinal screen resolution of 1536-pixel HD 2049, quad-core processors A5X, new 5MP camera and connectivity options for 4G LTE.

At the launch event held in San Francisco, Apple immediately disclose the price and schedule initial sales of this third-generation iPad. The new iPad is available for pre-order on Apple's online store starting today in the U.S., Canada, Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.

Cheapest prices ranging from U.S. $ 499 (about USD 4.5 million) for a model Wi-Fi-only with 16GB of internal storage and the highest price is U.S. $ 829 (about USD 7.5 million) for the 64 GB with 3G and 4G networks LTE. The New iPad is available in two colors, black and white.
