Pre Order “The New iPad” sold out

Less than a week since the release of iPad pre order starting on Thursday (03/07/2012) yesterday, Apple said the new stock that comes with iPad Retina Display and processor A5X for pre order has been completely exhausted in the middle of the overwhelming demand for The third-generation tablet from Apple.

The company has promised delivery of the first batch starting March 16, 2012, so from now on customers who already did pre order can hope and wait 2-3 weeks to get the tablets in their hands.

According to USA Today media who have obtained a statement from Apple, Apple explains that although the initial stock is up, the pre-order is still open. Rumored buyer may only buy 2 units per person.

"Customer response to Apple's new iPad with enthusiasm and we have missed the forecast charts, is now available quantity for pre-order already bought all," said the Apple. "But customers can continue to order online and receive an estimated delivery date."

This could be a marketing trick from Apple and make people wonder what the heck good as the latest iPad product. This can also be done to boost sales at Apple Retail Store and hoping to get the day long queues when this product is sold in general.
