"Competition is very strong, because the others are also playing in the data. But we're ready," said Joko Sumantri Yuwono, Group Head of Product Development & Management Indosat, in Jakarta, Thursday (03/22/2012).
He argues, as the infrastructure is ready to welcome Indosat data services. Moreover with an international pipeline to which of the far-away days have been prepared. So plan to achieve the target of an additional 4.2 million subscribers of packet bundling can be accommodated.
"We are led also to the mobile cloud. You see now the data available on the phone so it's important to back up into the cloud. Mobile cloud has been tested, but its products do not exist," said Sumantri.
"For the cloud, we have the solution itself. It came out later the second quarter. At that time we will focus on mobile social networking and personal cloud," he added.
He said there were customers begin to seem more concerned to keep a backup of personal data such as pins, calendars or contacts. These conditions mean more opportunities opening up for cloud services.
"If the phone is lost, photos or important data can go missing. The concern was that it exploited by others. But, if there is data in the cloud, it is on the phone can be remotely erased," said Sumantri.
