Touch in Europe Kindle: Amazon announces price and date of arrival for Italy

Amazon has announced at this time that the 6-inch e-reader Kindle Touch family will be coming soon to Europe and then in Italy, namely from 27 April. It was not the Kindle have been waiting anxiously, but it's a sign that Amazon is gradually embracing the market of the old continent, without rushing.

The Kindle is just the Touch version with touch screen controls of the Kindle e-reader that debuted with us four months ago. He inherits the monochrome screen by the excellent readability, even outdoors, a monstrous capacity of 4GB and a range of two months.

Both versions will come already in the U.S. market for months, namely the basic connectivity with Wi-Fi and 3G, which allows connection to the Kindle Store, download books (for now there are about 5000 titles in Italian) and consult Wikipedia.

The models are already available for pre-order price of 129 € and 189 € respectively for the version of Wi-Fi and 3G. As a rule prices are slightly inflated compared to the U.S. equivalent, but that cost $ 139 (104 €) and $ 189 (142 €).
