Visiting the Amazon with Google Street View

Google Street View is a technology featured in the Google Maps and Google Earth that provides panoramic views from around the world. Street View was launched on May 25, 2007 in several U.S. cities, and has since expanded to include urban and rural areas throughout the world.

This time in the context of world forest day, a team of Google Street View and Google Earth Outreach invited to the Amazon basin to collect interesting and beautiful pictures of river and forest communities in the Rio Negro Reserve, Amazon. About 50,000 images captured with the help of Street View.

They make beautiful images that are available through the Street View feature on Google Maps. Now anyone can experience the beauty and diversity of the Amazon without having to be there and feel threatened by dangerous creatures.

We can take a trip down the river and climb along the route with beautiful scenery that we can see the point of view of 360 degrees.

Many areas in the Amazon, including the Rio Negro Reserve, under the protection of the Brazilian government with limited access to the public, so expect a collection of Street View, which provides access to a specific point on this planet can make some people have the opportunity to experience this amazing view.
