Zeiss Cinemizer, OLED 3d glasses - photo gallery and video

After a long development period that lasted at least since 2008, 3D glasses equipped with mini-screens of Zeiss now finally see the light at CeBIT, where the German company famous for the lenses and precision devices (lasers, binoculars, telescopes, vision night) presented them in a final version ready to enter the market.

Zeiss Cinemizer integrates two screens OLED 870 × 500 pixels and adjustable thanks to the internal lenses you can change the focus by compensating defects of sight between -5 and +2 diopters, for a PD between 59 and 69mm.

The projected image corresponds to that of a 40-inch screen placed 2 meters away and the visual field has a width of 30 degrees, while the audio is given by two flexible ear. The audio-video stream (720p/1080p/2d/3d) is assigned to an HDMI connection, flanked by 2 audio mini-jack and a mini-USB for charging. The article continues after the break.

The device is designed for a wide variety of applications, from entertainment with games and movies - even if the resolution for now it seems a little 'pan - up to the educational, medical or professional. Cinemizer will be available in summer but you can already pre-order directly from the company at a price not too exorbitant of 649 for the basic version, a sign that the technology is finally ready for a debut on a large scale.
