Jetway adopts Intel Cedar Trail

There are already several weeks that the California chipmaker has introduced its new lineup of Intel Cedarview (Intel Platform Cedar Trail) but are still relatively few devices that actually do use. For example, Acer Aspire One D270, while based on its new Intel platform, is being pre-order at $ 280 but is not yet available although the launch is expected within the month of February.
Jetway has introduced two new motherboards mainly dedicated to the industrial sector (IPC - Industrial PC) platform based on Cedar Trail Atom processors from Intel and the latest generation. The motherboard and NF9D NF9C-2600-2700, these trade names, are both characterized by the mini-ITX form factor and use the Intel NM10 Express. To install the memory modules, there are two DDR3 SO-DIMM slots (up to 2 GB), while for the expansion could count on a PCI slot and a Mini PCIe connector.
NF9C-2600, specifically, can be equipped with an Atom N2600 processor (1.6 GHz) or N2800 (1.83 GHz) and includes a card socket CFast, 1 SATA 2 SATA 3.0 Gbps and 6.0 Gbps, Gigabit Ethernet controller, the module Realtek ALC662 for audio management, 3 USB 2.0 ports and one HDMI output that allows it to be connected to a TV in high definition. The version with the Atom N2600 has an introductory price of $ 150. Recall that the dual core CPU is based on a 32-nanometer manufacturing process, has an average consumption of 3.5W and is coupled to the graphics PowerVR SGX 545 to 400 MHz
NF9D-2700 uses, instead, a powerful D2700 Atom (2.13 GHz) and provides 2 SATA 3.0 Gbps ports and 2 SATA 6.0 Gbps ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, an audio controller VIA VT1705 HD (5.1 channels), a 4 port USB 2.0 and both D-Sub and HDMI outputs. Both motherboards have been specifically developed for the production of compact nettop, dedicated to various realities that can range from the use in the professional to the consumer.
