An external GPS receiver free for all owners of Prime Transformer

An email leaked in recent days on XDA informs us that Asus has resorted to drastic measures to solve the old problem of malfunction of the GPS receiver integrated into its tablet hybrid Prime Transformer.

According to reports in the letter, Asus "will release a short stick, which will put an end to the GPS problems, able to maintain a connection to different satellites and keep it connected in time with Wi-Fi enabled (?)". The email also stated that the key will be provided at no cost from mid-April, probably with an online application system directly from the website.

But the thing that will not do much to please users of Prime is that this "dongle" interfaces to the tablet via the docking port, thus limiting the use of accessories (especially the docking station / keyboard) when necessary.

A solution, therefore, some patched, a possible consequence of the spectrum of a costly class action that was becoming more threatening with each passing month.
