Epson introduces Running Monitor, the world's lightest GPS watch

Epson is known to all, but only for those printers that take our homes and offices, certainly no one had in mind the possibility that the company would create a gadget like the Running Monitor (apparently not the official name).

The little GPS receiver is contained in a wristwatch-sized really acceptable, that they forget the power ranger effect of many of its bulky ancestors. Actually Running the Monitor is indeed a first class, in this sense: it is the lightest in the world with its 5og, at least according to what one says Epson.

It is not only lighter, it also has an unmatched 12-hour battery, accurate data on speed, distance and step counter, all in a frame of 13mm water resistant to 50m (more than enough to withstand rain and sweat, for triathlon or if you are men of iron). With those twelve hours of operation (GPS enabled), the average person who keeps fit by going to run for a few hours on weekends or evenings after work might even enjoy it a couple of weeks before having to recharge.

The price is still unknown, but the Running Monitor will be released in Japan in 2012, followed shortly by Europe and the United States.
